Absolute Energy System
Unlike a normal furnace that tracks burn time incrementally, the Absolute Furnace operates on a unified energy system called Absolute Energy.
Generating Energy
Whenever you place a valid, burnable Minecraft item (such as Coal, Charcoal, or Wood) into any of the 6 Energy Input slots, the furnace instantly checks if there is space to store the resulting energy.
If there is space, the fuel is consumed and converted into Absolute Energy items, which are stored directly in the energy slots.
Consumption Rate
The smelting process is completely standardized:
- Cost: Exactly
2 Absolute Energyper smelted item. - Speed: Instantaneous per tick, constrained only by the availability of fuel and input materials.
NOTE
Because it converts fuel into tangible Absolute Energy items, you will see Absolute Energy stacking up to 64 in the energy slots. This allows the furnace to buffer a massive amount of potential smelting power, ready to be unleashed the moment ores are inserted.
